found, tucked away amongst the desk accessories. i was afraid to ask mom if she'd been able to save his collar. was relieved and at the same time newly grieved to see this.

good bye

this is the last picture i took of him. june 23, 2010, the day of his last haircut. very difficult going through these. yesterday i had to dismantle his bed for mom. thought about keeping his little quilt, but decided to rely on photos to keep his memory alive.

plenty of floor space, enough to share with danny, even. but weegee's having none of it. at least she had the sense to cover edgie's seat with a shirt (edgie's) before she put her muddy butt on it.
